*update* on my 98 Ultra Z Camaro

ive been waiting for almost a year to get my hood painted, well i talked to the guy that does my painting and he said if i was going to have him do it, this weekend was the only weekend avail before the new year. so my dad told me for my bday, november 19 (ill be 22) he would pay for it. THANK F*IN GOD!

well its not done yet, well ive not got it back. i dropped it off yesterday and this morning he had it primered, so whether its done, i dunno. but it should be done within the next few days.

a little. the reason mine is gonna be a bit more is im sending my FAST intake to them and there modding it and running everything for me. when i get it back all i gotta do is bolt the intake on, and run the lines and wiring. when its done it will look similar to this:

y not go with a turbo or super charger running 8-12 psi. when are you gonna use the nitrous if u get the kit? what shot are you gonna run? i dont think your rotating assembly can handle much more than 100-150 used less than occasionaly.

well, i was gonna get a t/c or s/c but the one i need is around $6k. i would love to have that more then the juice. if i do go ahead and get the juice ill either do a 100 or a 150. no more tho. and ill only do it at the track which in fact, isnt even occasionally, more like rarely.

the reason ill prob go with the juice for now is gas.the juice you can turn off, a super/turbo, you cant really. so i wouldnt be able to ride in it as much. my friend has a 93 indy pace car with a s/c on it. he doesnt even get 6mpg in it. so he doesnt even take it to parades unless he trailers it. and i couldnt do that. i love riding around and show off. do ya blame me? i mean seriously who doesnt like to show off... lol

then there is something wrong with his car/tune. there should be no reason a s/c on a FI car takes THAT much power to run the S/C itself. im big into dsms so i know a thing or two here. some s/c's claim better mpg when normal driving. do some research on this. and you dont need 6k to do it. theres used kits going everyday for 2kish.


but theres nothing wrong with nitrous. as long as its tuned right, the laughing gas is the best bang for your buck

a turbo charger with the right tune and low boost for daily driving will get better mileage than a stock setup. you just got to stay out of the pedal. also this should be below 6k.
