What do you want to do on the side?

Thats it man idk lol. I find myself going to work my 12 hour shifts as a paramedic 3 days a week. During those 12 hours i may run my ass off all day or i might ride the leather couch watching some tv. On these slow days i have been thinking that if i already cant be out doing what i want during the day then i feel i could find something to be doing to occupy my time and make money at the same time all while getting paid for being there. Something with more time involved and less money involved on my end would be the best for me.

HAHA wouldn't that be best for all of us

You have to take the skills you have and turn them into money. You wouldn't want to do metal work on the side?

I'm a Systems Engineer full time but still hoping to do some type of community site full time some day.

Problem with metal work on the side is i have the mad skills to do the work but i have no tools to do them with really. All the tools to do all of the work properly is a pretty high start up cost. I could even do "work" per say on my days off and do the business/networking side of it online while at work.

Yeah at first you will be spending more time generating sales than actually doing the work. Maybe you could work with your old place and charge them a commission for sales until you raise enough to get the tools.

old boss would not go for that. Plus at the same time i was kinda hoping for a new adventure that i have not done before. Something promising but something new to me. Ive done metal work for money in the past but it takes the passion out of it for me. I love to do it for me or for fun. Not so much on the profit side of it. To me every piece is an art piece and when art is rushed it becomes work.

may i suggest reading 'Rich dad poor dad'. This book may give you an idea on what you should do.
