My B2200 1988 has a genuine Redline Weber 32/36 DGEV, bought in late 2005 from Top End Performance in California.

thanks cusser. im checkin it out now. whats the difference in dgev and dfev
im completely new to the hole weber deal. im just tryin to get a little more ass behind my wheels. not too awfully worried about gas milage. as long as i dont burn through a tank in 200 miles.

Go 38/38! I have noticed an ass load more power! Milage went down some but... As for your question I'm pretty sure the dgev, dgev, dgas, shit like that has something to do with the choke? Idk for sure though... U won't regret your Weber swap trust me... I've never been in a truck with the 32/36 but I know that my 38 weber did wonders in the performance department!

ok ive made a decision. fist just wanna say thanx fellers for the help. i didnt know there was this much to a weber. lol or that there were fake webers. but now i know and u guys pointed me in the right direction. ive decided to go with the 38 due to the fact that im putting a b2000 head on for more compression and my exaust supposedly a preformance exauhst. and the fact that i will be running bigger than stock wheels. so from what ive read, think this should be a good choice. thanx jiffyzx6 for the blog info and thanx cusser for the website address. and just by reading on that site, they confirm that the ones they sell are the real deal. (made in spain, true weber not branded ect.)thanx again fellers

This is a weber. Don't worry lol HOWEVER, if it's not from weber themselves... it most likely has a small defect that is NOT functional related. Mine for instance, is a weber 38 and the arms that make it synchronous are off by like an 1/8th inch instead of being dead on. Unless you know what you are looking for, you will never know the diff.

^has a point. It may not be a true weber but I wouldn't be be concerned. If there is anything different with it or a defect it would be minimal. Any major defects that company should be able to handle. Weather it is or isn't a real weber I'm sure it's 10x better than what your running now.
