??Mopeds??

Who here is into old mopeds? I'm interested in an 79 Yamaha and an 82 Honda. 250 for the pair. Run good and paints ok. But I'm broke as usual. If I were to buy one which would it be? the Yamaha is RED. The Honda is black. Let me know guys and gals.

I'd buy the other one. Either one is good for 30 mph.

nope. Maybe in the Chicago area thou. For a biggish truck show. I will probably just get one. He said 100 for the Yamaha. And it's RED.

I'd buy the Honda. Hondas run forever and have a cult following. Don't know jack about Yami mopeds. I wish my ex would come off the 75s I picked up for her as a project when we were together.

My buddy had a 150cc GY6 swapped Ruckus that would easily hit highway speeds. He later swapped it out for a 50cc two stroke swap, tossed in a racing jug and a stroked out internals set pushing his little 50cc motor to 70cc.

That little sucker out accelerated stock CBR600's to damn near an 1/8th. I'd NEVER ride it though...

I like to think of mopeds as targets. Fortunately for them, the law frowns on running them over.

I found a 79 Eagle? 49cc moped... It only has 40 original miles and I talked to the owners and they said that the motor had seized... Lol I took a look and the spark plug was too long and it runs great now! It has rust in the tank but otherwise is flawless. I tore the motor down to have a look and everything looks brand new.

Greatest part... It was free!
