Put your welds through 18 years of the elements like the stock welds. They might not last half as long...

that was exactly what I was thinking, there should be some alignment shims in there to keep the proper toe-in/out settings for your alignment.
Glad your ok & figured out what the issue was before it got worse!

ok so it was a normal day this morning. got up got ready and took my daughter to school. truck rode like it normally does, kinda shaky and all over the road.....lol i blame it on a few things, front end needs alignment, exhaust ratttles against the floor, it being bagged. all the normal stuff to justify why it is what it is. well when i hit the brakes hard this morning, the truck jerked to the left really bad. of course at first i blamed it on the alignment. but in the back of my mind something popped up about what justin had said. i shrugged it off thinking that couldnt be it cause i have never taken my upper control arms off. well after i dropped melanie off, i stopped at the store to get a mt dew. i popped the hood just for piece of mind and guess what i found........my f'in upper control bolts looked like justins. i was f'n shocked. i really wouldnt have checked this unless justin hadnt said anything. so to you justin.....dude you are awsome and you literally saved my families life. please everyone check your suspension, atleast when you change your oil or something. and be on the lookout for the control arm bolt bandit......last seen in the carolina area.

dude that makes my day knowing that. that is EXACTLY why i posted it here for everyones safety. especially everyones little mini truckers to be. get them tightened up man. i believe mine may be stripped so i may have to drill the welded nut out and run a bolt and through it and tighten with a nut. damn man that really makes my day knowin that.
