WTF you see this yet?

i understand where cl is coming from...the fab work is killer and it was a good idea but the excution wasn't well placed..too round of a truck for that nose..it would look killer on an older square body chevy...but as i've heard before..there is an ass for every seat...from going to some of the local shows i've bumped into trucks like this..awesome fabwork but doesn't look good on the truck..i've tryed to talk to the owners and most of the time they are dicks when you ask them how they did it....Ryan Arsenault (yellow/black sdime on 22's) was at a show and i was talking to him about his setup and he was a total dick!!!...so it's one of those deals..if the dude is cool and did it..give him props..if he's not worth talking to because he did the front JUST to be different and get some coverage...well thats a different story....also..taken from drop'em wear "Big wheels are like G-strings...everyone can put them on, they don't always look good" i.e. red 4x4 on 20+'s...donked out but (Cl's trucks look AWESOME!!! laid out on bigg'un's) mine would look like hell with 20's on it!! lol

i agree. i think the guy at least thought outside of the box with a front end conversion. and i also think it would look better on a square body. but as already stated by everyone above me... there isnt really a reason to bash people. if you think it looks like the most horrible thing ever, feel free to say so. hell... that why we are all here, but thats the fun in customizing something. it doesnt have to please EVERYONE. just YOU. enjoy your trucks haha

Cl, I understand where you are going with this and I agree with you to a certain extent (the non-bashing part). Where I disagree is this guy is not a member of our community and the pic was taken off another mini-trucker related site. The tread was started to ask opinions on the style. I gave mine. I was not bashing the owner and if he were to have a problem with it I would stand behind my opinon that his hard work and money did not make the truck look better. If you think that this is a new thing only related to mini-truckers, you are sadly mistaken. Go onto some of the hot rod sites and see how they treat minitruckers. We band together on this site because we like similar styles and especially Mazda trucks. Had this person joined this site and posted a build thread, we probably all would have read the tread and only posted positive comments or none at all. But this is not the case. I would have also posted an opinion if the photo was of someone's house that was painted hot pink, also in bad taste.

I guess my point is we should still be able to voice our opinions in an off-topic forum. This is not personal "bashing".

Stop defending people's poor tastes, It looks like shit bottom line, why defend what the owner thinks looks good? Ugly shit like has nothing to do with someone trying to layout a mazda, or any other truck on big wheels. And if they do lay one out on big wheels, and it looks like shit, it wouldn't have any different opinion because it is the genre of vehicle that I build.

Bottom line, it was built in poor tastes, so bad that the respect that could have been earned by the time and money spent is irrelative. But it is not my truck, or your truck, so who cares?

Ok...I realize everyone is entitled to an opinion and everyone has there ego. Lets keep this strictly opinion based. I like it you don't ok..lets move one. Ultimately it is the owners right to do what they want. Safe or unsafe they are gonna do what they want. All of us need to just learn to live with peoples opinions.... I try to be positive toward peoples trucks. . . I have been on the other side of the fence and I know how much it sucks to have people hate my truck. . It sucks. . But I chose to do everything I did to my truck, so I would take the heat. . . I liked my truck a lot and everything I did to it. . Even though it looked like a POS transformer truck, as Mikey said back in the day. . .

So all in all, you do somethin to ur truck, u gotta be ready to take the heat. . . No matter what it is, especially if it is crazy different. . . Hell, I thought I did a great job baggin the front of my Mazda. . And people said I was a hack and unsafe and some more shit. . . Its whatever. . .

I get offended that I get classified as a degrading "mini trucker" group just because I have eyes and an opinion. . . I see the truck and it looks gay. . . I don't even like that front end on the car. . . Let alone on a truck. . .

Thers a few trucks on here that I don't like their trucks or the way they are goin about baggin em or whatever. . . But I don't say anything because this is a really positive site and its cool, but when there's negative words said, people get overly offended. . . Then it turns into and e-thug soap opera. . .
