i cant friggin wait to stripe that manequin thing! so far ive just been prepping it a lot to take the texture off and i painted it a chrome color... i plan to ghost some flames on the sides and do some striping here and there and sell it. anybody interested?
Did you start off with a kit for the brushes and such? If so what kit did you get or what products do you use. I have been looking at Mack brushes but I am unsure of what paint to use.
actually i have only ever used mack brushes. ive never spen money fr the One Shot... so ive just been using any oil based enamel. if you are thinking about trying it out and dont want to spend a lotta money you could just go to WalMart and get some for like 8 bucks. you can also get some mack brushes at oreileys. i actually found one store that sold me a whole pack of 5 for the price of 1!!!
i got a question...
to all the good pinstripers out there... have any of you ever used the crap paint ive been using and if so any help making this stuff flow without leaving streaks from thinning it? or should i just fork out the money and buy the one shot?
i still havent fixed the dents in my hood, so its kinda wavy looking for a reason. haha. thats my excuse and im stickin' to it! but for real though, other than not being perfectly symmetrical, scale of 1-10?
