new project 4 the kids!

ok so i picked this up from a local kid for $30. its an "02" suzuki JR80. it needs a carb n a bunch of other stuff.
then i found this one on craigslist in PA. its an "01" JR80. kid said he was riding it n it "just stopped", yeah.... its broke. its in somewhat better shape than the other one except for the huffed engine.
so.....if my math is correct...... "01"+ "02"= whoo hoo!!

no. we live in central ohio but it was cheap so my son n i made the trip to get it. we ended up gettin the bike for $114. a new carb online is about $115+shipping so it was worth that. plus my son n i got to spend some bonding time together n thats priceless. heres a pic of him at the PA info center when you get into PA on I70.

My 6 year old boy runs a 110CC 4-wheeler,He's been wanting a Bike

so with all the crap goin on in life nowadays i find workin on these lil bikes releives my stress. i tore both bikes down to bare frames. i ended up usin the 02 frame cause it was in better shape. i switched a couple parts over, cleaned it up n give it a fresh coat of paint.

so then i decided the 01 forks were the better ones so i put those on.

i ended up usin the 01 swingarm also. i kept the better wheels off so i could put tires on em later so i just put the other ones on for now.

next im gonna combine both engines to make one good one. i ordered a gasket set but its taken forever to get it. i tore the jug off the 01 i got from PA n it was huffed. heres a pic of the piston n head.
