Long&low made it too her first show today had alot of fun with my oldest daughter tomorrow is her 18th b-day so we spend the day together!
It was a local show with about 200 cars and everybody knows everybody (but us) finished 3rd in the 70 and newer truck class (no awards for 3rd) <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
got beat by a mid 90's jacked up chevy pickup (nice truck should have been in a different class) and a almost stock dodge warlock owned by one local club members wives. (funny thing happened as we were leaving a couple of guys stopped us and said they couldnt belive both trucks beat me and the only reason was they dont know me) The truck got a ton of attention by the folks coming to the show. Got a lot of the "how do you drive it questions"? Over all we had a great time and will be hitting another show next weekend. Here is a couple of shots of the truck.

Congrats on making it to her first show. Gotta love participant voting - it's all in who you know. Part of the reason I started only going to the larger "judged" shows. But, it's the local shows that seen to be the most pleasurable. Oh well. I generally get a better idea how popular the vehicle is by how much attention it gets throughout the show. Little kids, dads, moms whatever. If they all stop, look, ask questions or offer good comments then you've got a winner no mater what the "participant" vote ends up being.

Very true Linn the only award giving to somebody who is not a regular was a long distance award Its all good we had a blast with all the attention she got and hell how many people can say they were beat by a stock dodge warlock. It was a great way to spend the last day with one of your kids.
