well if you look at it that way then billybob and his dodge caravan flatbed is custom,ya thats a little much but it fells in to what you are saying,i thank custom is doing what is not the norm, putting a stock front end on a mazda to me is not custom it is cheating, if he wanted custom he should have put a different grill in it and made it look more off the wall then just putting a toyota front clip on a truck and calling it good. and we dont bag a truck to be like a caddi, we bag to drag the crap out of it........ not fighting, its just the way i look at it

im all for "custom" dont get me wrong, it just seems that it would have been easier for him to buy a yota and put a mazda bed on it instead of the other way around. i dig the truck and give him props for going outside the realm of "what everyone else is doin" and doing something different to set his truck apart from others, its not something you see everyday and i respect that. but thats just my 2 cents, everyone has there own opinion, just stating mine lol

thank you....i like the fact he did something differenrt to a mazda,or toyota or what ever you call it now, but what he did has been done to the s10s for years now, peaple have been puting the front of the new bodys on the older bodys for a long time..... or puting the caddi front clip on a big body and calling it custom,to me that is like put a sticker on your truck and nothing else and calling it a custom ride, no im sorry its not one, ...now i like what he was after but to just put a yota front on and call it good, not for me, if he had put the yota fenders on and grafted then in to the mazda fenders and the same with the hood so it didnt look as much like a toyota part it would have been better in my eyes
yes i took a ford step side bed and put it on my truck, same thing he did just to the rear but i made it look like it was made to be there i did little things to make it look like maybe mazda did put stepsides on these trucks not just slap a bed on and called it good

That truck is sweet. I love it

Would love to see better pics and without snow on it. It looks like the hood doesn't really line up and I would like to see the half mazda, half yota fenders. Other than that it looks like it was done fairly well.

Personally, I don't think that it looks right with the rest of the mazda body. It is too rounded for the mazda and the body lines are way too curved for the square lines of the mazda. I would have totally deleted the yota body line and kept with more of the Mazda lines. Also, as with with someone else said, I would change up the grille, get rid of the yota symbol. With a little tweaking I think that it would be a really good swap.
