Hey FNLO, Love the idea. KILLER.

Wood grain looks awesome (if done right). Its a classic/retro style. I've been wanting to do mine with real wood for years. I don't see anything wrong with the colors that you chose either, it should look sweet.

I do agree that you have to think....will I like this in 2 years??? As for the "clean look" (which I love), sometimes I like to see something thats in my face and breaks what everyone else is doing.

I think that the bottom line is, do what you want and what you like, its your truck and no one elses. Love it or hate it, you've made people react.

seirraX i totally see what your saying, and the reason i came up with ideas like these are becuase im not the kind of guy that does what everyone else does, if think of it as if i do this, itll either catch on and people will end up lkeing it, or people will hate it, but its still MY truck, and i could witch up the design ina cuople of years anyways....... thnx man u totally made me rethink EVERYTHING! I was thinking about the wood idea while I was working today and came up with you also doing the bed floor to tie the truck together. I've never seen a Mazda with one. Original and definatly different.

Dude do the white and blue with woodgrain!!!! If you get a bright white and a tropical blue put a white pearl in both, then start the woodgrain in a point at the front. With a gradual but not to gradual taper to about 1.5 inch i think it would be a wicked look man. Just my thoughts
