state farm said they would not insure my mazda in its cut up form

i think it looks bitchen when the people take the old trucks thats got surface rust and throw on some shiny steelies and whites slammed to the dirt with no air.

lol,I like the idea in the photoshop,and the edited one with the chopped bed is cool. I really like the idea with the rood posts leaned forward. What you need to do with that then,is replace the rear window with a split oval or something,like the old Ford coupes,and run the old round Ford Model A tail lights in the roll pan. Suicide doors are a must,and maybe with the bed,you could use like a Ranger stepside bed or something,and cut out the fenders and run it open wheeled in the back like a true rat. You also gotta have some sidepipes.

But yeah man,that would be sick as hell. That one that's being built is insane! That is a huge roof chop!

RAT ROD is a very over used term...but it does fit right in with what we, as minitrucker do. Build a car/truck, thats custom in every way imagineable for cheap and enjoy the hell outta it. WHo cares if its practical, who cares if its legal, it turns heads and we/they love it.

I don't think you could insure it as I really can't see any one safting it for the road but it is cool as hell and if he did get it on the road legally I would love to see it flying down the highway with a bunch of us behind it in our trucks.
