because the wiring is cut up . it would be wise to get another wire harness ( and noting what goes where before removing) and then pull out the old harness . Then wire it up then you can do the RIGHT way of elimination on the wires . make sure you cap em first and tape em up so that no chance of bare wire hitting metal . Give the truck a chance man . you posted your problem on the 5th . its now the 10th . give it time . you will get it running .... i would also just pick up a used b2200 carb and mount that up til you can get the truck to run . Other wise your beating a dead horse tryin to get a dead motor to run . That truck has enough work into it to be worth spending the cash for another b2200 motor for it (matter fact i saw one on ebay for 700 in florida on ebay last nite ) think about it . your project is half done . won't take much to get it to run to a drive around state . til you finish your other projects on the truck . i say keep it .
