I added aftermarket Audiovox cruise control () to my '88 B2200 SE in 2003. It was $99 at AutoZone, complete, I didn't need any additional vacuum cannister. There was an extra throttle connector position on the stock carb which made this easy, as the kit came with several throttle adapters. I didn't need to put any magnets on the drive shaft either, it pulled the signal from my coil. Two years ago I updated to a weber carb and thenattached the cruise control cable around the stock accelerator cable but I had to make some simple standoff brackets for the CC cable (photos of this on ). For mine, I did need to call Tech Help once and then re-set the dip switches so it wouldn't cut out over 80mph.
