that may work for a little while, but i wouldn't recommend floodn the carb with starter fluid on a frequent basis, this will lead to your valve seals hardening, and then you will be letting the "magic" smoke out of the motor!! it will run you @ $100 to $150 for a rebuild kit, and at least that for
labor, best bet is to get a weber as long as u don't have inspections.

i just rebuilt the motor about 40,000 miles ago,i have only done it once and its still running good and its 37 degrees out

I got so sick of my carb screwing up. It sputtered, spit all that good crap. I just took off the butterfly on the top of the carb & it runs fine now. lol Just something to tide me over till spring till I can get a weber. :p
