I ASKED THE SAME QUESTIONS TO THE SALESREP WHERE I BOUGHT MY 38 WEBER. AS I UNDERSTAND A WEBER NEEDS BETWEEN 3-5 PSI NO MORE, AND FROM 70-100 GPH FLOW RATE, THIS WILL KEEP THE FUEL BOWLS FULL, AND NOT STARVE THE MOTOR DURING HARD ACCELERATION.
I AM GOING TO GET A JAZ PRO-STREET FUEL CELL W/ UNIVERSAL SENDING UNIT FROM FROM JEGS, ALONG WITH AN AEROMOTIVE SS FUEL PUMP, AN AEROMOTIVE UNIVERSAL BY-PASS REGULATOR, AN AEROMOTIVE INLINE FILTER BETWEEN THE CELL AND PUMP, AND A SCREW OFF TYPE AEROMOTIVE FILTER BETWEEN THE PUMP AND REGULATOR, AS THIS IS THE SETUP AEROMOTIVE RECOMENDED ON THEIR WEBSITE. THIS FUEL PUMP WILL FLOW 140 GPH AT PEAK, THE REASON I CHOSE THIS, IS THAT IT WILL LOOSE SOME FLOW THROUGH THE FITTINGS, FILTERS, AND REGULATOR, SO THIS OUGHT TO WORK FINE UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS. THE REGULATOR WILL GO AS LOW AS 3 PSI, AND IF YOU CHANGE THE PRESSURE NEEDLE YOU CAN USE IT ON A HIGH PSI FUEL INJECTIONS SETUP.
