is it a 3.8 turbo out of a buick grand national? those little motors have been made into some serious powerplants, i've seen them chapping mustang 5.0's, and camaro's too at the dragstrip. if so a few mods and you could have some serious horses under the hood of the ole mazda!!

hey NYTRDR24
is that true? that sounds like it could be sweet anyone got any pics fo one in a mazda? would proboly smoke more then camaros and mustangs

guy on a chopper site i go to said that the Turbo-T (basically a GNX in sheeps (regals) clothing) and GNX engines can be built to put out well over 400 horsepower fairly easy.....

9 out of 10 "fast" mustangs and camaros are bone stock except for maybe a intake/exhaust upgrade.....

u stick 400+ hp in a light truck like a mazda and theres no way in hell a stockish mustang or camaro could touch it....granted you could get traction!

Yea you wont hook up worth crap off the line unless u get some big back tires, and a mustang or camaro will probably get u in the end b/c there rears geared lower then a mazda..
