Ok I put my weber 32/36 dgv on my truck but now I am stuck because I can't find the throttle adaptor kit. My truck is a 1984 b2000 with the rod throttle linkage anyone know how or where to find the adaptor kit?

hit up VW performance and aftermarket shops.. they have them. I got a full rebuild kit for my webber (after being told countlessly that they didn't make em or cost a fortune) for 30 bux.

did you just buy the carb, or did you buy the kit? the kit will come with
the adapter plate, linkage & air filter assembly. as far as the spacer with the wire, mine had it also, i think it is some kinda heater, but per the instructions you don't reinstall it.....

That is the PTC heater. Some people use it some don't.
It preheats the stock carburator base area where the idle jet is located.
It preheats the carb on cold weather and keeps it from icing up.

I would put it back with the Weber. The heater is not a whole lot of heating capacity but it is there for a purpose.
