hmmmmm......its been said that you can use a rx7 transmission behind a b2200 engine as long as you use the b2200 bellhousing, which means the bellhousings are interchangable.......

why not just swap out the bellhousings, keep the stock transmission (supposedly just as strong as an na rx7 trans) and just have to build new engine mounts and wire it in?

o yah, thats just the non turbo rx-7 that uses the same transmission, BUT, it put out 160hp and 140ft/lbs

...and a 160hp RX7 is still a rocket. I used to have a 1988 non-turbo RX7. That thing was a blast. But I had a header,2.5" exhaust,CAI and lightened flywheel on it. Fun cars. If not daily driven. Then they're a headache.
