have a question

my truck just started doing this, when it is in between 2 and 3 grand it starts cutting out and acting up, my transmission has a bearing going out in so i don't if that has anything to do with it or not

what do you mean by cutting out????????

i think that it is my timing, it starts to bog down and miss

is the engine missing, or is it just bogging down. if its missing it could be the timing, but if it is just bogging down that bearing could deff. be the prob.

fuel filter or in tank pump screen if you have an intank pump

my fuel filter is clean, i am gonna put my other transmission in and see how it runs then

since the filter is clean, have you hit it w/ a timing light? also does it only do it while pulling a load on the motor (driving down the road), or will it do it while sitting & idling?

i haven't used a timing light on it, and it does it going down the road

double check w/ a timing light, it would sux to pull the tranny & it be a timing issue.....but w/ it doing it going down the road is sounds to me like that bearing in the tranny is your prob.
