i think it might be ur plugs fuel system or u need a cap and rotor or ur carb is dirty b.c htat used to happen to me b4 i got a weber it would idle fine nad drive like a lil bit ok and when the carb would have to fill up with gas it go the dirt from the bottom of the bowl in the carb and would die
