yeah its the stock carb. and the fuel filter always has some gas in it and when I replaced it earlier it fired right up with the fresh one that had none in it. It will fire up if i bearly turn the key over but it just hesitant on take off and stalls out at highway speeds.
hmmm, i'd pull the fuel line off and make sure its getting a constant fuel flow and nothings backed up or clogged, and if it is it shounds like its in the carb to me, maybe its time for a weber=)
The line that goes from the fuel filter into the carb, i'd look down in the carb at u turn the throttle to see if its spitting at all, and if it is i'd also check the line runnin into the carb off the filter make sure its decently coming it should be like 4-8psi i think
ok took off the air filter and looked inside the carb and when you give it gas it is spraying it in there. Then i pulled one fuel line from the fuel pump and it started spraying gas everywhere then i pulled the other and it ran for a minute then died. i guess that was the one coming from the tank.
