ok here is my problem recently my truck has been shutting off on me after shifting out of first when it dies it feels like it not getting gas so i pour some gas in the carb and keep starting it intill it starts and runs then it doesnt do it again intill it starts acting up again

here the problem it works sometimes so it not every time

SO I was driving to the airport to get my dad and I stopped at the gas station to get a drink. Then I started the truck up like normal and started to drive away. I get out onto the road not shifting into second yet when I do the truck sounds like it bogging down because lake of gas getting to the carb and then shut off. I keep trying to start it without putting gas in the carb but I had no luck. So I get gas after walking a mile( oo yea my dads been sitting at the airport for two hours now lol) so I pour some gas in the carb then keep trying to starting it. The first couple of times it starts and bogs down like it burning off all the fuel that I pour in so I put some more till it starts then it starts then works all the way to the airport and back. It not until I got home and then start to go back out the truck died on me again arrrr help please

this is just one of the many times it has done this

I just replaced
starter
ign switch
coil
filter
fuel pump
check the fuel filter it clean i can blow air through it easly
the carb is clean
spark plugs are good
battery somewhat good it works
clean the air box and air box maniflold thingy on the side(?) it was pretty dirty because of oil blocking one of the hoes going out oil got into the pan from the overflow tube that goes into the motor from the air box
it all clean now

another ? what are the filters in the air box manifold part called?i

anyone have any idea on what it might be

mine did that too but its was the filter being clogged i recomend checking for blockage in the tank and lines

that was my next plan i am going to run off my friend fuel cell and see if that helps at all if not i checking all the fuel lines

it sounds more like a choke problem, the chokes on our trucks suck, they are fine when the are somewhat new, but if the start to go bad, thats it find another one, mine was just doing the same thing about a month ago and i put a new choke on it because it was tring to stay closed or i just wouldnt open( it had a mind of its own) so i replaced it and havent had a prob yet

When it breaksdown again, you need to know what is missing.
Is it missing spark or fuel?
No spark, must be the igniter inside the distributor going out since coil is new.
Do you have 12V to the ignition coil positive terminal with ignition ON?
No fuel, possibly a blockage from the fuel tank to the fuel pump, since fuel pump is new.
