Update on the gas mileage:
Gas mileage went up from 17 mpg to 27 mpg city driving.
This is a great imptovement ove the stock carb.

Oh also, the electric choke was tied in to the 12V positive to ignition coil.
This way, it is only energized when engine is running.

Answer this for me, guys: How reliable is your weber carb to you? I'm thinking about getting one, and was also curious about the mpg. Mine is an average of 22.

If I install the weber, will I be able to get rid of my ecu?

Got my new 34 mounted on my polished and ported intake last nite.As soon as my cam,springs and retainers,lifters and aluminum 3 groove pulley arrive I am going to have a small upper end mod party and give the old dawg a much needed shot of hp.Lol.BJ

you ought to at least be able to bark the tires longer than a chirp, heck, might even be able to leave a rubber mark down the road! haha!
