What artical was that ? I used Lucas additive in my toyota tercel, and after the 1st month seemed to be running great, then all hell broke loose and was making weird sounds, I was gonna use it in my b2200 I dont know if I should, but i heard from a few people that its bad stuff. Word of mouth is good enough for me I dont care bout the yota, But I cant deal with things if my b2200 is out of wack .... lol its my baby

Anybody ever use SLICK 50? I had an oil pump go out on a 99 Olds Intrigue when I started it up after sitting in the garage for 5 months. The service writer at the dealership told me he would use Slick 50 to prevent that in the future. I put a bottle in my '89 B2600i 4X4 with 157,000+ miles on it and it sounds better. Hope it doesn't cause problems down the road.

Here is the article about Lucas:

Very imformative site, and I suggest visiting their forums as well about oils and such.

Used to love Mobil1 0w20, but I can no longer find it. I'll prolly switch to Amsoil 0w-20, but will have to mail-order.

There's some discussion that mobil moved to gradeIII base in their "full-synth" oils.

I don't use any oil additive. I figured these oil companies did so much with their oil recipes, if the additives were so good, they'd just include it in the oil.
