Wow! Sorry for not replying back! I been busy for a while so I have'nt been on the site for a while.

I went through Car Toys for the alternator. But, if you would like I can give you their toll-free 1-800 #. They'll help you order one over the phone and make sure you get the right one.

One note though, I'm not sure whether or not it was they pulley they had on the alternator if it was just the tension of my belt. I switched out my old pulley from the stock alt. to the new one. And then made sure my tension was right. I was stranded a couple times because of it! When you install it, you will have to get a belt about 1 inch longer, unless you want to fight with your stock belt...

I looked but could not find an application listed on that web-site. What application did you use? Do you recall your part number? Was it really $500?!?!

I'm adding a second alt to my truck to run on a second battery. I used a factory mazda and put in on the A/C compressor bracket. Did require a little modification. I haven't hook a second battery to it yet but hopefully will be able to soon.

My alt. is the CS series. CS144HO is the part name. Although, I doubt this is what you will want for your truck. Depending on whether or not you are going to add more amperage to your truck besides your compressors you may or may not need more than what I have. I'm sure you would be able to figure out your amp draw from the applications you will be having. And always, it does'nt hurtb to have more than what you need! No, my alt. was $400, not $500.

I just bought my weber carb for $320, a little piece of damn metal that I cannot comprehend on why its so much. Same with the alt. But it don;t matter to me, it is necessary IMO.

I just suggest getting on the phone and having someone help you pick one out. Regardless, you will get what your looking for! Good Luck!
