I have posted before that my old Dawg would need a 100 mph tailwind and a fall off a cliff to reach 100mph.Yesterday I tuned it up,reset the time to 4% BTDC, put some 91 octane in it and hit I -75 N for a test run. After a bit of a windup, the old Dawg hit 100 onthe speedo without much protesting,so I guess I need to take back all the bad things I have said about it in the past.Life is good.Lol.BJ

Well I can claim membership in that fraternity as well.My past Mazdas include a 1975 REPU,a mint 1981 Sundowner,a new 1988 2600 4x4,a 1990 2600i ext. cab, and the current 1992 2200.I wish I still had all of em.BJ

man bj, you forgot the cheeze, cause the hamsters under the hood must have been giving that exercise wheel heck!!! nah, haha! congrats on breaking the century mark! glad the ole dawg is running good!

Actually it was cheeze dip cause it is slicker and more aerodynamic.Lol.I think gettin that crappy stopped up cat off helped a bunch, plus my carb heater vac hose was split which was causing rough idle, etc. These old dawgs are a bieutch to keep running 1/2 way right but I do love em when they are right.BJ

I know the feeling I actually got my dawg up to 100mph. I was waiting for something to give but she actually rode pretty well. Needless to say I didn't keep it up that fast long cause it did take everything the truck had to get there.
