Maybe we need to start the BScene Century Club for all sceners who have ,as the Brits sa,"done the ton".Of course we will have to have independent verification like a Police ticket or Bonneville timing slip.Not that any of us would stretch the facts any.Lol.We could give a small award like "Dawg did the ton and I survived."BJ

Would be interested also. Unfortunately I just can't remember if it actually went over 100 or only 95 Was sometime in late 1990. Haven't really tried since then. Might have to give the daughters ride a little thrashin once mother nature gets over her cold streak

My mazda struggles just to get to 100 KPH, forget 100 MPH. And she takes her time getting there. Gotta love the automatics.

that is the reason i we used to say "slow & low" back in the day, cause these trucks were never ment to go fast, especially if you lowered them

Yeah,underpowered and about as aerodynamic as a brick.Wouldnt it have been nice if Mazda had kept the Rotary alive in their truck.I had a 75 REPU that would suck dents in the hood and run sideways down the street stock.If they had kept the 13B rotary and turboed it in the trucks can u imagine the fun we would have had and stillbe having.Dream on . true, they would have been bitchen, i though about doing a rotary swap while i was doing research on the stock engine...there is just so many aftermarket goodies for those engines, you could do it & have no problem with getting 300-400 hp easy out of one of the rotary engines.....heck i had even found a guy that had a whole rx-7 twin-t sitting in his back yard, body was in bad shape & engine needed to be rebuilt, but hey all the stuff was there that i needed.....

Since we're talkin about our "speed demons". I don't know if this happens to anyone else but I find it a bit annoying when imports pull up to me at a light and wanna race. All I can think is "do you feel that bad about your car that you wanna race me?" Also I guess since I have lights in and under my mazda it makes is fast cause its worse at night. Oh well our mazda's are actually custom and not just bolt/stick on.

^^^ thus the reason my motor is getting modded so heavily.....the look on that young guys face when he gets beat by a mini truck....priceless....not to mention i would like to be able to out run a turtle every once & a while.

I would like to be able to outrun the stink off the turtles poop much less the turtle-one day.BJ
