ok heres the deal guys i got another mazda b2200 its a 92 se-5 when i got it, it smoked so bad u couldn't see anything behind u. i no alot of mazdas smoke but this wasn't just the ordinary smoke it was bad! but after about 2 blocks it would clear up and hardly smoke at all if any, so i was thinking the valve seals must be shot and that oil must have been leaking down threw the valves, well 2 days ago i got the head back from the machine shop, i had a valve job done, all new valve seals put in it, new cam, and got it all cleaned up, finally got time to put the head back along with all new gaskets started it, the damn thing still smokes like crazy!!?? now im kinda confused im gonna do a compression and oil preesure tests on it tomarrow once i get outa work. but just wandering if anyone has any other info that could possibly help me out??
Im trying to keep the stock motor in this one if it doesn't end up driving me crazy!

Sounds like your on the right track to me. something you might try is seafoam take all the plugs out pour some in each hole and let it set then after a day or 2 turn the motor by hand back and forth. then add some more turn the motor again after a day or two. after that put the plugs back and change the oil and start the truck . it will smoke on start up getting all the seafoam out. if you have carbon build up that will clean some of it out. might help you some did that once to mine and it helped alot.

Exactly

Back to reality, one other thing that may cause this situation is if the oil ring is stuck. you might get a decent compression number, but still have smoke. Another trick would be to start it up, let is smoke for a little bit, then shut it off and check the plugs. This might give you an idea which cylinder is the problem.

oh then what i said wont help yea blue is oil white is colent sounds like your head or gasket is still messed up. It can also be that your still burning stuff off from installing the head. drive it for a bit and get all the collent out of the cylinders

I had the same problem. My truck started smoking one night, like so bad people thought it was on fire and I smoked out an entire parking lot....I'd drive it smoking like mad until it was warmed up to normal temp and the smoke would stop.

I had the head rebuilt, put it all back together and guess what? Still smoked. Bad. Nothing changed. I tried every oil additive known to man to unstick a ring if that's what the problem was,or just to clean out the engine. I gave it a week and it didn't clear up. I drove it every day smoking like mad until it warmed up.

So we tore into the bottom end and discovered I had a small crack in one of my piston rings, and that ultimately led to a bottom end rebuild. Since then, she's been mint.

Looks like you've got piston ring troubles. And that's not cool.
