Someone has posted in the past about a fairly easy swap to some of the 100 amp GM 1 wires.U do lose ur electric choke wire, but lots of ours dont work anyway. Is that a possible solution?I have a regular sound system so no problem for me.BJ

I may have worded it wrong, but increasing the size of a storage device or storage devices will put more DRAW on the chargin system.... so pardon me for wording it wrong, no harm no foul....but my analogy still stands, more storage without more output is only a short term bandaid fix....we could argue all night and day but we both have our own opinions, and I respect the fact that you have your but will hold to mine.

Regardless....you can use any number of 1 wire alterantors, internally regulated is easier of course, but an externally regulated unit can be used to, with the appropriate regulator. POWERMASTER makes some decent ones...Or perhaps look at one out of a mx-6 with all of the options, that should bolt up and might have a higher amperage output....or maybe one from an FE3 motor, Just a couple thoughts.

True that gravity5. Dont forget what I mentioned about the alternator from a early '90's mitsubishi 3000GT, like I was saying (typing), they have the same plug or connector as the later B-series, the bracket needs to, like sombody said earlier, "massaged" to fit, but it is pretty dang close. Never heard of Powermaster, do they have a website??
