Just a heads up - the 95-96 (and later in most cases) 2.5L Mazda Millenia Alternator has output of 110 amps. It will swap straight into a MX-3. So since the B2200 is parked next to one I will try to trade them out tomorrow. May not work but I will let you all know the outcome!

so a GM alternator will swap in by just changing the lower bracket?

what about the pulley? does it match up with the mazda belt?

You can't use the Gm alt with the factory carb. It has a wire that goes to the alt. If you have a weber or holley then the GM is the way to go.

well, after some thought, i will just fab up a mount and run a GM alt for the system and keep it seperate from the main electrical system.....

Thats a good idea too. That was my plan, but Im not sure if I will have room to run my EDC and a second alt.
