Wait a second. While I'm at it, I wonder some things. First, if you get rid of emissions because of a new carb, will it still pass? I just got a weber and I don't want to send it back because it could cause me to fail? And secondly, if I put on a weber carb, do I have to get new headers, or anything else for that matter?

i dont know about the emmissions, but no, you dont need a header to run a weber, just plug the emmissions ports on the stock header.....it has been said that lug nuts will thread right on the ports and seal them up.....

As long as you adjust the weber properly you should still pass emissions.

You dont need to run your O2 sensor with the weber, but its a good idea to keep it and hook it to an air/fuel guage and just tune the weber so it runs stoich. Too rich or too lean and it will fail, out here in colorado atleast. Im not sure of the laws nationwide, but thats the way it is here. Also if you have a visual inspection you might fail that if all your emissions parts are going. We dont have that hear either.
