If you want NGK, try Oreilly's or Pepboys, I believe they carry them. Autozone carries Denso (formerly Nippendenso), that would be the equivalent.

dropped the exhuast, put new plugs, this is the third set in 2 weeks, dist. cap, rotor, wires & it's still runnning the same. it idles fine & revs fine, but when i try to hold it at lets say 2k RPMs it starts to miss really bad.

hopefully i'll pull some more codes tomorrow & keep going.
i'll keep updating.

so did you change your TPS? that could be the problem with the idle at 2k rpm being shaky. it's not reading correctly and not telling your fuel injectors to stay on long enough, and getting you a lean condition... is your O2 sensor working? that'll tell you if it's getting warm at a high idle, lean = warmer Exhaust temp as i think someone said before...
or are your plugs still really carbony and exhaust smoky? could be too rich and your not getting good combustion... your 02 sensor could tell you that too with cooler than normal exhaust temp.
or possibly a vacuum leak? when you hold your truck at 2k rpm ic could open something and cause extra air to run into the engine but possibly the computer can't sense it, and isn't providing more fuel to mix with the extra air and it's leaning out your AF mixture?

Is the vacuum advance working correctly?

GOT IT FIXED!!!!!!!!!

after running the codes again & getting crazy reading & checking all the sensors we came to the conclusion it was the computer. i found a guy who rebuilds them & gurantee's his work for 2 years. i sent it to him & he said the curcuitry for the coil packs was bad. he fixed it & sent it back. i put it in today & she running like a champ!!!!! no smoke, easy start, no check engine light, life is great!!!!!!!
