i have a 84 b2000 and i have replaced the slave cylinder all the lines and rebuilt the clutch master cylinder and it still won't kick the clutch fork in and out. i have bled it a lot but it still doesn't help. any ideas?

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder after the rebuild, before installation? May be an air bubble in master cylinder that won't bleed out thru the slave.

Does the slave move at all?

Is there a significant amount of freeplay between the slave and the fork?

there is about 1/8 inch freeplay between the slave cylinder and the fork. when the clutch pedal is pressed the slave comes out to the fork and then stops. the pedal has no resitance on it at all. i have bled everything excessivly and still no luck. when you press the pedal you can hear what sounds like air gushing it sounds like an old bicycle air pump

might have pinched a Oring in the clutch master cylinder. and now its not building the presser it needs to

Did you adjust the slack in the master cylinder threaded push rod?
How much pedal travel on the pedal before it gets pressure?

the master cylinder didn't have a push rod and the pedal goes all the way to the floor with no pressure.

If there is no fluid leakage, then the master cylinder is shot, even with new seals.

i think that might be my problem to but its $55 for a new one and i didn't want to put anymore money into it if it not going to fix it. already done to much of that

Sounds like fluid is leaking past seals in master cylinder. If you have a helper have them push clutch pedal with cap off of master cylinder. Watch fluid in cylinder - if you see fluid streaming up your gonna need $55

i have the hood off and i can see the the master cylinder and it does shoot fluid out. if the cap is on it there is a pin hole in the cap and it shoots about 3 feet in the air through that hole. so does that mean it is definatly bad?
