huge amp question.

You also have to account for your efficiency rating, heat, etc. to really get your true answer. Use ohms law to figure it out if you really wanted to know...

if you have all that electrical upgraded and lights are dimming at 800 watts something is up, i was running 2 batteries, and isolator, a stock alternator, 5 farad cap with 1700 watt mono amp and a 600 watt 4 ch amp and never once had lights dim,

You talking about RMS or peak power? I dunno, man. Tell me then, what could it be? I have 0ga. wires from alt to batter and ground, etc. 4ga. wires for my power to sound system and ground. Ground kit has like 8 or so 8ga. wires. I don't think its my cables! Lol, the resistance in this truck has to be low, maybe too low? Haha.

When my truck is at idle, and its night. I can hit the gas when its in N and you will see my lights get brighter. Lol.
