302 engine swap

i have a question im to going to put a 305 but i was wondering if i could use a powerglide that i already have without anyproblems, im not trying to build a race truck but i already have the transmition and i dont want to pay for another one, and does anybody have anyother pics and can help with a swap, and i have used the search function trust me thats all ive been using

its a chevy 305 not a 302 its out of a camaro but my ? was i have a powerglide trany its a 2 gear just a go ang go faster, but i wanted to know if it would work, its about the same length as a th-400

i have a mustang 5.0 engine already but i was wondering since you did the swap what tranny worked for you automatic or standard?

i would say that a auto would be alot easier

gravity5, i have Eric Startzel to mine hes the owner of EMS offroad an offroad shop near me, if your 8.8 if an offset meaning it has one long axle and one shorter axle, you can cut down just the long side and get another short axle like the short side, which will give u almost 3" if i remember right. This is what i did because i wanted a centered rear for my 90 instead of the offset rears like most 8.8's

Bagged22 so you would suggest just moving around the motor mounts if i am going to bagg it than using the kit? also is your truck bagged or just lowerd? do you have anymore pics that you could email me? i would like to see where your mounts are placed if you can and thanks. if anyone else has pictures of there 302 swap that would help me out thanks my email is
