mine is carb'd too, but i'm not using my mech pump, i've made a block off plate & am running an aeromotive pump, filters & regulator along with braided & solid line....

its only alot of work to keep the stock tank but relocate it IF you frame it all the way in, which is NOT needed. i just have a piece of 2x2 steel welded behind mine incase of a rear end colision, the tank even when layed out is atleast 4" off the ground, so no need to frame it in all the way.

plus you can keep the stock gauge sending unit and know how much fuel you have in it.

if simplicity is what you are after relocate the stocker and lenghthen the lines and wires, if you want a clean look and dont care about doing some more work, get a cell.
