Performance cam on ebay

Anyone have one of the performance cams from alohasales? Is it worth it?

HHAHAHAHAH......performance cam in a mazda??????? I'm not really a motor guy but I think that you would probably have to have a bunch of mods for this to really make a difference. If you just put this in I don't think that it would make a difference at all.

Ya, I believe they sell it out of my city! I've tried asking them about it but they don't reply. I would'nt even bother with it if I were you!

Your paying for another cam, and yours would be useless! I say if you really want to do a performance grind, take yours out and go somewhere in your city! I bet it would be cheaper.

As far as I could tell you, I would think you would get a slight performance increase. Keyword though, <i>slight</i>.

Im not planing to do much to the engine cause im doing a 302 swap but I have headers and 2" exhaust.

i think a cam would make a huge differnce because of how detuned our little engines are.. i have no idea what the specs on the stock cam are but im 100% shure there not too agressive.. i would get crane or voodo to gind one specific to your driving style though you dont want a cam that will make peak power at 8000 rpm....my hypothosys is that if you had a high flow air filter and exaust..you could probably work the cam and head to getabout 20-25 more hp at 3000-5000-rpm...you will lose bottomend tourqe though... i put a cam in my lil 300ex and that bitch flys now....would deffinatly advise taking the time to remove the head to reseat all the valves ( verry simple procedure) , and to do some polishing in the runners...whatever cam you get make shure you get new lifters and maby even some stiffer valvesprings

I dunno... I figure the most it will do is change the duration, and open/close timing for the valves... Basically change and add a little horsepower to your powerband. I got a buddy who got his cam ground for his 350 and it just wants to leave ya!

Hey, man! If you are planning on getting rid of the stock engine, you interested in selling your headers? Is it a ceramic? And what do you have for your exahust?

ah 2" exhaust, hollowed cat and a cherry bomb reversed no emissions baby

its a #272. The specs are .414 lift, duration is 221 by 221 @050. Does anybody have this?
