i can't decide on which motor to get both will be about close to same price the 13b will be a little bit more because of custom driveshaft which i'll have to do anyways

i need it for a daily driver

the fe3 will get pistons cams and intake if i can find one and probably engine management it will stay n/a

the 13b will be stock

if your gonna try to haul anything other than a$$ i'd say the fe3, cause the rotarys aren't the best in the torque catagory, but they are way up there on the kool meter...... if you were to do the rotary, were you gonna get the twin turbo, or just n/a?

i was going the single turbo the s5 trim the specs i was looking at were 205 hp and around 200 ft pounds

I was also thinking down the road about doing the cbr throttle bodies swap since i will already have a standalone

Is the ford escort gt motor an fe3???

i saw one in a yard and was looking at it for a bit

i would only pull the short block from the escort i want the pistons if it is

nah, the only ford block that is the same as the b2200 is the 89-92 probe & probe gt.......

if you want to do the fe3, i'd get up with madlowmazda, he's done it, and has a megasquirt map to use with the itb's

If you are interested I have an s5 N/A rotary here, a little less power but could be turboed later.

Ford escort 1.8 dohc engine is a bp engine= miata engine. Wrong engine class. You want f block- as in fe3!

I like the fe3 swap because you can retain all of the factory mounts and driveline.

The fe3 power is impressive!
