ok wel a rx7 was a production cars so it does have some reliability..you can expect a stock motor to spin till around 150k miles before it needs a rebuild..daily...they are tempremental and some days ive heard they just wont start..ususaly in the cold ... so if relability is a maijor isue go with pistons....and wtf is a t2?? is it a twin turbo 13-b? mines a 91 S5 13-bt...the only twin tubo rotarys i know of are 20B twins...jus curious

drveshafts...best to trailer the truck to a driveshaft shop so they can do their thing..it all depends what rearend u run ..

T2 = RX7 TurboII. Basically, just the name designated to all FC turbo 7s. I used to have a TII,and right on the front fenders it said "TURBOII".

I'm hoping to go ahead and do a rotary swap maybe next year, after I bag my truck.

What you'll want to watch out for with the rotaries, obviously is that they inject oil into the engine like a 2 stoke,so you always have to keep an eye on your oil. I was lucky to make it 3000km between oil changes, and I'd usually have to top it up before then, and that was in an S4 NA 6 port 13B. Gas milage isn't that great, but is about equal to our trucks. They can be hard to start sometimes. They like to flood. Whenever I parked mine in the parking lot at school on a slope,it would always flood and I'd have to bump-start it,pushing it down the hill, lol. If you don't want to do bumpstarts, just take out the 2 bottom spark plugs and crank the motor over a few times to get the excess fuel out.

Rotaries are freakin' amazing engines. Insane power,so much fun to drive, they sound incredible with the right exhaust system (Brullen has THE BEST sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a 7). I used to work for a rotary shop, and they aren't too far from you, they're in Brampton at Dixie and Steeles. Check out their website at Chris is the owner, and tell him Mike that used to work for him sent you.

That car was messed. I paid $800 for it,and 10 mins after I bought it,I blew the engine on the drive home. I took off from a stop sign and I hit 3rd gear and the boost gauge went right up and the car sputtered and started losing power and slowing down. I drove home on 1 rotor. I sold the car 2 weeks later for what I paid for it.

Here's a shot from my NA 13B. That's KMH for you Imperial using Americans.
