Ok, so my B2200 was of course the one with the major smoking issues before. Well now I have a parts truck to swap heads on. My motor either (we thought) has blown valve seals or piston rings. Well, before we swap the head which would fix the valve seals which we are hoping was the only problem, we decided to do a leak compression test. All of the plugs are coming out with oil on them. All of the cylinders climb on the gauge slowly and after 4 full revolutions, they all max out at about 150 give or take a few pounds. So in other words, they climb slowly but do in fact reach the correct pressure. What does this indicate, everything I have read shows that if they climb slowly that they will not reach their proper pressure.
What can I conclude from this. Also, the spark plug with the least oil climbed faster in the beginning then eventually leveled off at the same as the other cylinders.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Zac
