Even though im not real into crossbreeding, i have a mazda with a ford v8 and a mazda with a f2t, but i also have a s13 240sx and no a good bit about the ka24det's and sr20dets, i'd say go for it the sr20det is a very good, strong 4cyl, even with the stock t-25 turbo, with a bigger t3's i've seen over 500hp on stock internals on them, just don't get the motor, tranny, ecu from ebay u will get screwed, go to jdm-online.com or another known importer, where they make sure what there selling is good...

thanks for the web site, i will check them out.

it won't be happening any time soon, cause i just ordered the head and i want to see how it is going to act but i have had nothing but bad luck with the head that is on it now, so we will see how long it will be before i do this.

it's cool bro. i have thought about the rotary engine but to be honest, i don't know much about them except from what i have heard from a couple guys at work. they said that everything aftermarket has to be damn near exact to get it to even run right, you can't just go throw a 2 inch exhaust on it without doing the numbers to make sure it will even crank. not to mention the problems i have heard with them. but saying hardbody=sr20det is like saying chevy=350 or ford =302. you know.

i would have to agree i know plenty more about 4-cylinders than a rotary engine. but there is also the fact about crossing in to territory you are not familiar with. its always something new and for some people it is an exciting experience and some people want to be in something different but what they already know about. i say do what you want to try. just once you decide dont change in mid-build because it will be more trouble than it is worth. this is all just my opinion

just curious has anyone ever done a 13b twin turbo swap and could it be done?

"can it be done?" is such a bad question. anything is possible. has someone done it before? i don't know, but it's worth a try.
