no no no not the one on the radiator (unless i need it) because there is just a plug there instead of that thermo sensor i need the one on the fenderwell/wheel well. thanks

.The round object on your fenderwell that you are concerned about is an altitude compensator.It allows your emissions control system to compensate for wide changes in altitude and not pollute.If u drive the truck at the same altitude all the time it will probably never function.If u go to a Weber,u can just yank it off.The empty bracket attached to your charcoal cannister is where a vacuum control valve is mounted.It is also part of the emissions system.If your truck needs to pass an emissions test or is not running properly, you will need these parts to be hooked up and functional.If not fugetaboutem.OK?BJ

Lookin at the pics I guess i am missing a few emisson parts.. I would love to go with a weber but i have to pass emisson so i cant go that route! anyone know parts numbers to some of the emisson parts like vacuum control valve n other parts?

well im beginning to think someone had a weber on here the way its all hooked up. it runs fine and passed emissions perfect, so i will not worry bout them then. thanks everyone for all your help.

By the way, I have a Weber 34,no primary cat and none of the stuff on the fenderwell except the charcoal cannister>I also passed emissions.A well tuned truck should do ok on emissions without all that crap.BJ

You can have a weber and pass emissions better than with the stock carb and all that crap. its like hocbj23 said a well tuned truck will pass. Its the visual that gets most peeps. Some states don't care that it runs better, has less emissions they wont that stock crap on it.

what weber do i get?¿ i see quite a few different ones... 32/36 38..? i dont know the differences
