hey everyone, well today i put my ac belt on pulled my old alternator out and it was too hot so i moved the truck into the shade where i noticed a big wet spot of tranny fluid on the ground, i look at my bell housing and its a slow drip from there, front main seal is probably shot from sitting so long, no big deal one thing is i dont wanna drive it with no fluid in it to the shop (i would pull it myself but live in a townhouse with no garage and landlords dont like me working on my cars here) so my question is where does the fluid go in from?? ive looked for a dip stick for the tranny and dont see one, where am i spose to put fluid in this bitotch is an 89 mazda b2200 5spd, thanks in advance.

5 speed it takes 90wt oil and there is a plug on the side of the tranny you remove it and fill until it is level with plug hole .....what color is the fluid??

There is a bolt/plug on the driver's side of the transmission. The best way to add fluid is to take a piece of hose and run it down through the engine compartment and run it into the hole. Then you can fill it from there, instead of having to pump the fluid in from underneath. Fill the case up to the bottom of the hole or until it starts to run out. Hope that helps.

its a 5 speed so it isnt going to have a dipstick like under the hood. it should have like a plug somewhere on the tranny to put fluid in. i've not put any fluid in any of mine so i dont know where it is but someone on here will know where it is. hope this helps.

You can if you wont to take the shifter out and put some in there. just dont lose the little plastic thing on the end of the shifter
