which is fine but it sits the motor really low, i can give pics

i've got pictures too, but i guess what do you mean really low?? if i remember right the motor mounts from a standard to the convert. is 3/4" difference. the ultimate customs told me i couldn't get the serpentine system in my truck, but i've got that to wrk too. so i guess each their own. just my two cents

i rand the serp. as well but the balancer was like 1/8" from touching the front cross-member

ok, so who makes a kit for a bodydropped truck?
speedster93b   +1y

i heard suicidedoors sold a bolt-on bodydrop kit for a while... maybe they sell a bodydropped underhood 302 swapperoo kit too...?

i didnt see the kit on the ultimate customs website? does anyone have a link? Also, will the mustang motor mounts set down and need to be welded? Is that all thats involved with that? I have a truck with a 9 inch, but if I can't keep it, I will just find a JY rear end.

ultimate isn't around anymore.the mustang motor mounts are bolted on the motor and drop in the frame mounts of the mazda. the holes needed to oblonged some.

sweet, so it's a really basic swap huh? is there any steering/crossmember/firewall clearancing?

there will be an issue with the cross memberunder the oil pan, but shouldn't be a big deal to have something made. i think v8mazdaforever said he would make these if anybody wan't one. the trans tunnel will need to be bumped out very little for 5 spd and quite a bit more for AOD trans. you will need a drive shaft made and if you have a good one that's longer then it's cheaper to have it shortened then to have a new one made. for the trans mount you need to make one that comes off of the main frame support that is located under the cab area and there is already a couple thread holes on top that you can use.once again you can contact v8mazdaforever, i'm pretty sure he said he could make this stuff for ya. steering isn't an issue if you use the headers called shorty UNEQUAL length. if you get the equal legth ones you won't be able to use the factory steering system. do you have power steering on your mazda? if interested i have the pwer steering unit that mounts on the frame for one i'd sell for $40 plus shipping. if you price one through a parts store they are $300 for a rebuilt one, which is crazy. anyways more questions keep asking

not sure on anything with the truck right now, im hoping to have it this weekend, but it really depends on a few things. I have a truck right now, and want it gone. I had a b2200 a couple years ago and LOVED driving it. That's one vehicle I could drive and never get bored with. I hope I can go up tomorrow morning or afternoon and get a better look at it. I know the floors and cab corners are solid, least when I last saw it, the rear end needs a little body work, but thats nothing major really. I just got bored of what I have right now, so many things just aren't working with me, it gets frustrating. Like it's trying to tell me something haha.
