alternator

i keep trying to find the post about upgrading to a bigger alternator but i am getting tired of looking. what are good alternator upgrades again? i am going to put a bigger alternator on the 83 with a yellow top so i can get this beast back on the road. i hate not being able to drive her. thanks.

IM HERE GUYS, haha i hate the fact most people that do anything to their trucks others wanna do nobody wants to help or take a lot of pics..... i bought a gm alt. its a reman for 56.00 from kragen auto parts. it isnt a hard install but somehow has taken me like a month lol no but its as easy as grinding your stock bracket down and bolting it up... mine will be done this weekend and can help out with pics or knowledge just lemme know

stock alt on a mazda is a weak 55 amp... the gm is a 105 amp.. muchbigger soon as mine is installed its going to get taken out and rebuilt to 201 amps... gonna cost like 120 bucks... so less that 2 bills i have an alt thats the shit and half..

alright ill get some pictures, ill post some of the bracket tomorrow to give you an idea of how much need to be ground off that way you dont make the mistake i did by grinding some thinking its enough and it not being but you already put it on and then going to bed and getting to it the next day but your tools got stolen hahaha
