this is a picture TRASHED gave me, showing me what the 2 lil clips are for.. the red is a voltage regulator.. it goes to the battery positive, black to battery ground. large red to battery positive, the large is the charge wire obviously and the lil red one is the regulator, in the beginning was sad i got this one but then after knowing it had a regulator made me happy because, gm alt that is internally regualted wont charge until 2,000 rpms, now it will charge with any load applied....much nicer

all you have to do to get to align right is flip the alternator upside down.. like so... and it fits the brackets no problem...

badass bro. thanks a lot guys. you guys jumped all over this. thanks. just one question...you said where you got it from but what does it originally come off of, or do you have a part number that i can cross over, because i don't have that same parts store anywhere around here. i plan on going to oreilly autoparts and getting one with a lifetime warranty. thanks again guys.
