Having a annoying problem here. Almost seems like a choke problem. Truck runs fine, but when coming to a stop it dies sometimes, then I need to pump the gas once to get it going again. Mostly does it at a low idle, but then it high idles and doesnt do it. I will be the first to admit I dont know much about imports, so also if I could get help Identifying my motor that would be sweet, I know its a 4 cyl and thats about it lol
here is the motor

i blame that air filter. i had one on mine along time ago and it acted like you put your hand over the carb and snuffed it.

change the fuel filter and re adjust the carb altitude might have something to do with it

air filter is too small. get a 5" or bigger.

to see if thats what is really the problem, run the truck with NO filter at all, and see how she responds.

Why are your tires showing - where's the rest of your truck?

i see the problem man, you have the stock carb. haha. check your vacuum lines. you may have one leaking. if your truck is a b2200 it is a 2.2 liter, b2000 is a 2.0, and b2600 is a 2.6l. unless of course someone did a motor swap. but i doubt it. also check the above mentioned. hope this helps man.

look in the bottom right hand corner of your timing belt cover which is that red thing on the front of the engine it will say 2.2 or 2.0. the picture isnt that clear but it looks like its a 2.0

I had the same problem and said to hell with it and put a weber on. When I took my emissions crap off I noticed that I had fuel in some of my vaccum lines. No good. Im guessing mine needed rebuilt bad probably just a gasket or something.

another way to tell, and i could be completely wrong on this but my b2200 2.2 has belt driven power steering where my 90 b2000 has just a box, no belt.
