Name my engine problem! Officially RUNNING!!!!!!!!

Ok so, when the #1 piston is firing according to the distributor the piston is down (pretty sure all the way) and the cam sprocket is almost at 4 but maybe like a centimeter from 4.

okay the picture in the how-to is where the dizzy needs to be when at tdc. you need the engine at tdc. drop the dizzy in at tdc. if you pull the dizzy out at the end of the shaft will be a notch on the shaft itself. then on the gear shaft there will be a dimple. line those two up and drop it in. the rotor button will turn counter clockwise but it is suppose to do that.

I owe my life to you Justin. Wow. It was supposed to go to the shop tonight to get this fixed you just saved me tonnes of money. If you need some parts I'll hook you up man. It was just not in the right firing order. Wow. I just woke up everyone. <open headers... The only way to start a new motor.

great to hear man glad i could be of some help. it sounded exactly like they were crossed. now see if you would have just checked that the first time i mentioned it you would've been good to go. but atleast you learned something about timing.

Meh, lesson learned but when I checked it it was lined up just on the wrong stroke I think.
