can stock ac compressor be used for air ride compressor?

i have an extra motor that has a stock ac compressor and was wondering if i can use it to fill my tank?

yeah. i did. i just cut both lines, ran a hose to the one that blows out to the tank and left the other open to suck in air. but if it gets low on oil it gets really hot and blows lines.

how do u add oil and check if it has any. oh and is there a write up on how to do this, i wanna do it to mine.

i second all that also just swapped out my motor and debating putting my ac back on or use compressor for air and next summer get electic and put ac back on then.

yes it can be used for air ride. There should be a 17mm plug on top, take it off, and fill with oil. Thats how I did mine. you CAN get this....

water trap yes, oiler depends on what kinda of compressor you have.Sanden you need an oiler, wich are stock a/c compressors for the truck and some if not all yorks you put oil in the compressor
